Pittsburgh, PA (January 10, 2018) – Goat Rodeo Farm & Dairy is excited to announce it received top awards during this week’s Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg, PA. The cheese competition at the PA Farm Show was held last Saturday, Jan. 6, where Goat Rodeo won two first place ribbons.
Its Fresh Chevre, took first in the ‘soft goat’s milk cheese’ category, while Goat Rodeo’s Chickabiddy received first place in the ‘bloomy rind goat cheese category.’ Goat Rodeo also placed second for its Hootenannay, a goat’s milk Gouda cheese, in the ‘semi-hard goat cheese category,’ and third place for its Stampede cheese in the ‘mixed milk category.’

The 130-acre family farm north of Pittsburgh uses traditional methods of cheese-making to produce its line of goat’s milk and mixed-milk cheeses.
